  • Setup & Cleanup: Artists are responsible for the installation and de-installation of the show. SSNYC provides various sizes of pedestals, but artists must paint and touch up the pedestals and walls both before and after the show. Artists may bring their own vitrines and pedestals.

  • Gallery Operations: Selected artists are responsible for opening and closing the gallery during their show hours.

  • Price List: A detailed price list of all artwork for sale must be provided 10 days before opening night.

Website/Portfolio Requirement:

If an artist submits an Instagram page instead of a website, the account must feature only artwork. Mixed personal/professional accounts or strictly personal pages will not be considered.

Wall Restrictions

Two of the gallery walls are made of cinder block and require special tools. To avoid damage, artists may only hang paintings, tapestries, and lightweight objects on these walls. Installing shelves or heavy objects on these walls is strictly prohibited.

Important Note

SSNYC reserves the right to cancel or refuse to host the show if the final exhibition differs significantly from the approved proposal. Please be as detailed and clear as possible in your application.
